Surface Area of a Pyramid

This calculator uses the following formulas:

Lateral Area of a regular pyramid = (Perimeter * Slant Height) / 2
Total Surface Area = Lateral Area + Base Area

The base area is found by using length time width. Slant height is found by is the distance from the vertex to the edge of the base where it is at the midpoint between the two corners or vertices of the base.
