Bretschneider's Formula

This calculator uses Bretschneider's Formula to solve for the area of a quadrilateral where the side lengths and the length of the diagonals are known. The formula used is:

Area = 1/4 * sqrt(4p²q² - (b²+d²-a²-c²)²)

• a = side length
• b = side length
• c = side length
• d = side length
• p = diagonal length
• q = diagonal length
